MEET BAM
Brian Bam Martin, was born and raised in the city of Chino, CA. He is 22 Years to this day. Bam began his dancing career in early high school when he took his first hip-hop class at a local dance studio. He soon began to train and compete with their competition team, where he focused on his jazz and technical training rather than any hip-hop styles. However, His main focus was mainly hip-hop influenced styles of dance. In May of 2006, Bam got signed to be represented by Bloc Talent Agency, and began his quest in the industry. After several months, he began hanging with the community scene a little bit outside of L.A., where he was introduced to the local collegiate dance competitions/teams. Bam soon joined a collegiate dance team from Cal Poly Pomona called GRV, which was an outlet for his own creativity/choreography. In early January 2009, Bam made his appearance on the first couple episodes of MTV’s Americas Best Dance Crew Season 3, along with his crew “The Boxcuttuhz”. Lately, Bam has been going around teaching in various states and countries including Chicago, Texas, Germany, Russia, Austria, Slovenia, Japan, Spain, Colombia, Switzerland, and Italy. He has also trained/done projects for various choreographers such as Lando Wilkins, Gigi Torres, Shaun Evaristo, and Jun Quemado to name a few. As of late 2010, Bam is one of the new artists signed under Movement Lifestyle.
