Originally from Buena Park, Anthony began his dancing career in college after meeting Mike Song [Kaba Modern ABDC Season 1 and Victor Kim [Quest Crew ABDC Champions Season 3]. He began by training in the fundamentals of Bboying and Popping and later auditioned to join his first and only competitive dance crew, CADC. After a couple of years, he became one of the team’s directors which sparked his passion to put together shows, teach his craft, and pass along any knowledge that he’d received from previous generations. His senior year of college be began creating a name for himself with the debut of his choreography project, “The Revolution” at the dance competition, Ultimate Brawl. After graduating UCI, Anthony joined Culture Shock Los Angeles to be a part of their Poppin’ squad and was even fortunate enough to travel to various parts of the country, and even internationally, to teach and perform. In 2010, he and Mike Song created the Anbu Black Ops, a band of brother ninjas who combined storytelling and comedy with dance which would eventually evolve to what is now known as the Kinjaz. In 2010, he was also the coach of CADC’s Hip Hop International select crew and helped bring them to their first ever bronze medal at the USA Finals, placing 8th in the world and also featured in the LXD’s [League of Extraordinary Dancers] Season 2 and 3. He was most recently the artistic director of Boogiezone’s Jr. company, Offspring and now teaches classes weekly in the greater Los Angeles area.
